Funny Quotes
1. Steve: "It's funny, we read Mike's summaries of our own shows ourselves and sometimes reading the quotes that he pulls out, I'm like DAMN! We're funny!"
2. Steve (about random marriage proposals to Rebecca): "Our listeners wouldn't stoop that low."
3. Jay (about young skeptics): "When I was 13, I think my mom was still picking my shirts out for me. Like I was not thinking about issues that today's 13 year olds are thinking about."
Rebecca: "Jay when you were 30 your mom was still picking shirts out for you. I wanna see what she picked out this morning."
Steve: "No his wife picks out his shirts now."
Jay: "I sometimes call her mom by accident."
4. Jay (about TV shows that Steve has been on): "Typically they're talking about ghosts for, you know, 50 minutes and 2 minutes of the skeptical idiot in the lab coat."
Rebecca: "Did you just call Steve a skeptical idiot?"
Steve: "Token Jay, we're called token. I get to say BAHH and that's it."
5. Steve: "I have an 8 year old daughter, extremely curious, extremely bright. Whenever she asks me a question about the world, my first response is always well gee, how could we know? How could we know, you know what color dinosaurs were? Or whatever her question is. Let's think about that and then we try to figure it out together to try to lead her to what kind of evidence or logic could lead us to an answer. Rather than just saying you know they were brown, shut up."
6. Rebecca (just before Science or Fiction): "This isn't fair Jay has a computer."
Jay: "It's to spell-check what you're saying, go ahead."
7. Evan: "I agree, Mars is fake."
8. Jay (about dinosaur movies having huge bugs): "Steve what color were those bugs?"
Evan: "Black and white, they're old movies."
