| 1. |
Steve (about the Patriots' Superbowl loss): "I'm barely over my post-traumatic stress disorder from watching that game." |
| 2. |
Evan: "You know what today is? Ash Wednesday."
Rebecca: "Oh yeah, I saw somebody with the dirt on their face and I
laughed." |
| 3. |
Steve: "Because meditation was shown to lower your blood pressure. Yeah,
being calm lowers your blood pressure."
Rebecca: "Yeah not effective for flying through the air. Or blowing
fireballs out your hands like that guy in Street Fighter." |
| 4. |
Steve: "This one is by inventor Thans Hines, which strangely reminds me
that we forgot to mention that Jay is away this week because he's in
Sweden."
Rebecca: "That came out of nowhere but ok."
Steve: "Yeah, it strangely reminded me of the fact that Jay is in Sweden."
Rebecca: "That was a really good segway. Speaking of perpetual motion,
Jay's not here. Ok. Next news item." |
| 5. |
Rebecca: "Hey speaking of devices that violate the second law of
thermodynamics, I heard that Jay is in Sweden." |
| 6. |
Evan (about the blind stem-cell mice): "Scientists don't get blind-sided by
something like this." |
