About me:

I was born in Smiths Falls, Ontario. I went to high school in Perth, Ontario and spent a year in Nienburg, Germany on exchange in high school. I'm currently working toward my PhD in Computer Science at Carleton University, focusing on Artificial Intelligence, specifically: Evolutionary Computing. I consider myself to be a skeptic. I'm an atheist. I run stellaralchemy.com. I presented my irreducible complexity evolver web applet at TAM5 in Vegas (holy cow!). I teach first and second year computer science courses at the university. I also teach a one-week enrichment mini-course for high school students on skepticism, pseudoscience, and critical thinking.

Anything Else:

SGU is my absolute favorite podcast. I enjoy listening to it during my long bus commutes to and from campus.
