About me: I'm the most polite and well-intentioned loudmouth you'll ever meet.  I can't stand all things post-modernist, and have been nearly academically lynched because of it.  In short, I'm a hero.  I'm Jesus and Batman.

No I'm not.

I'm a life-long musician, reader, writer, and all around funny-guy. I have a college diploma in Recorded Music production, and will very soon have a B.A. in Political Studies and History.  I also spent 5 years in middle-managment in the business community: 5 years which I'll never get back....even though I probably would have spent them playing playstation anyway.

Scientifically, I'm weak.  My background is in political theory and history.  Thankfully, the Skeptic community, and this podcast in particular, have provided me with an unfounded growth in scientific literacy, and appreciation for the scientific method.
Anything Else: My science may be weak, but my politics is strong.  Hopefully I can enlighten my fellow scholars who are terrified of the Scientific method to adopt a more naturalist stance when developing policy and theories.  I've bitched alot about post-modernism, but I truly believe it is a danger to political theory, and by extention, the social sciences at large (which are also succumbing to this academic navel-gazing)....My academic goals reflect a naturalist/evidentialist outlook, and hopefully I can get those in the humanities to stop being afraid of science, and to get scientists to stop hating the humanities.
